Kudos at the North West Audio Show 2022

We have just returned from a fantastic few days at the North West Audio Show at The Cranage De Vertere Estate. It was our first Hi-Fi Show post-pandemic, and with a lot of excitement in the lead up to the show online, we were really looking forward to seeing some of our customers, retailers and music fans after so long.

This was our second time at the North West Audio Show with AudioQuest and, we have to say, it’s one of our favourites. The attention to detail and effort that goes into the show is superb – from free entry for all visitors and a complimentary glass of fizz on arrival, to a free shuttle bus and free parking – the organisers really did think of everything.

Special thanks to Kris Sawicki for your hospitality and organising such a great show, the team who helped us unload and set-up/break-down and the guests and fellow exhibitors who made it such an enjoyable weekend.

Big thanks also goes out to our friends at AudioQuest, Accuphase and Innuos for helping us to create one of the ‘Best Sounding’ systems at the show.

The system went down extremely well amongst visitors and we were even lucky enough to be handed three ‘Best Sound’ cards by press who particularly enjoyed the system.

“I’ve never heard the £17,000 707s sound anything less than spectacularly good and they were a “must-see” on my list of things I knew would be at Cranage as I knew they were going to be driven by an Accuphase E5000 integrated amplifier with DAC module and a Innuos Statement server front end.

Needless to say the wiring in this room was all by AudioQuest including AudioQuest ThunderBird ZERO Loudspeaker cable, AudioQuest Diamond USB cable, AudioQuest Hurricane power cables and an AudioQuest Niagara 5000 power conditioner.” Hi-Fi Pig
