Kudos At The 2025 Tokyo International Audio Show

We’re well on our way into Audio Show season right now, with major HiFi exhibitions taking place at locations across the globe. This weekend, it was Tokyo’s turn to host the much-admired Tokyo International Audio Show – and we’re delighted to say that Kudos Audio was there making music all weekend.

We were represented in Tokyo by our friends and international partners Timelord – the deeply respected Japanese distributor of some of the world’s best precision audio brands. Since joining the Kudos Audio family, Timelord and their owner, Al Hirano, have been tireless champions of all things Kudos – showcasing our products to dedicated listeners right across the region.

For proof of this, you need look no further than last year’s Asian Tour Diary, where we documented the incredible lengths Al Hirano and his team have gone to to introduce our loudspeakers and SIGAO DRIVE crossover to the Japanese audio scene. This includes numerous features in highly-respected Japanese audio publications, and culminated in a Stereo Sound Golden Sound Award 2024 for our Titan 707 loudspeakers. This was a particular honour, as it was the first time the Stereo Sound judges had given this award to a product that wasn’t brand new to the HiFi market.

This incredible support continued in abundance this weekend at the Tokyo International Forum.

A world-class system

Timelord assembled a genuinely breathtaking system for Tokyo International Audio Show – a true demonstration of the power and potency of British HiFi. A comprehensive suite of Chord electronics and amplifier delivered the music and power to our Titan 808 Loudspeakers – driven actively with the addition of our SIGAO DRIVE unpowered active crossover.

Guests also had the chance to take in the rest of our Titan range, with the 505, 606, and 707 models also on display.

The reaction was nothing short of remarkable – we’re utterly delighted with how positively Kudos Audio listening has been received in Japan. With the help of Timelord, we look forward to seeing where else our Japanese adventure takes us!
