This site uses Google Analytics (GA) to track user interaction. We primarily use this data to determine the number of people using our site and to establish which pages are the most popular. This is helps us to better understand how users find and use our website and enables us to develop interesting content that is more relevant to all visitors.

Although GA records data such as your geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system, none of the information collected personally identifies you to us.

1.2 Product registrations (electronic and paper)
In order to activate a Kudos warranty, we require customers to complete the product registration form. This is for the following reasons:
Customer Service: Allows us to provide a better service for you in the future by knowing which products you own and, in the unlikely event of a repair, enables us to fulfil our obligations to you.

Product updates: Allows us to easily contact you in the event of any important product updates and where there may be any issues regarding product safety/recalls.

Product advice: Should you choose to receive email communications from us, this allow us to we will send helpful tips and hints about getting the most from your speakers, information on new products and latest developments, invitations to dealer events or customer research (so that you can have your say on the speakers we make).

Note: Those who choose not to ‘opt-in’ to receive email communications, will only be contacted in the unlikely occasion of a crucial product update or recall.

1.3 People who use our services, e.g. who subscribe to our newsletter or request a publication or enquire about our services
The submission of a webform via either the ‘Contact us’ page results in the information being emailed to us via the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP).
Our SMTP servers are protected by TLS (sometimes known as SSL) meaning email content is encrypted before sending and decrypted by our local computers and devices when it is received.
We collect this data to allow for a quick and relevant response to any specific query.
The information provided through either webform is only processed and stored if consent to email communications is given, although this means that we will be unable to respond to your query.

2.0 How we store your personal data
All completed webforms detailed in section 1, will be stored within this website’s database.

If applicable, the data is transferred to our email software, Mailchimp. Details of data type and how long it is stored is detailed in section 2.1.

Depending on the webform completed, some or all of the above information will be collected.

In line with current GDPR regulations, we ask for your consent before adding your information to our database.
Customer information is stored for email communication purposes within our email database.
As we value our customer relationships, we aim to send only relevant emails with product news, special offers, helpful tips, competitions and events.
