TITAN 707

The Titan 707 delivers much of the industry-leading brilliance and stunning audio quality of the world class Titan 808, from a simpler one-box cabinet. Distilled from the same design ethos as our reference loudspeaker, the Titan 707 is built for serious music lovers with elite systems, looking to elevate their audio experience and introduce flagship level speakers into their setup - from a more traditional, single body unit. Any listening space, whether large or intimate, will be utterly transformed by the sonic prowess of the Titan 707.

EXCEPTIONAL, CUSTOM-MADE DRIVERS

The Titan series features drive units crafted exclusively for Kudos by world-leading specialists SEAS. All four Titans share the same superb K3 tweeter, a version of a legendary SEAS unit specially re-engineered to tailor its capabilities for the Titans. A two-way design, the 707’s twin mid/bass drivers are brand new and unique to this model. All drivers are precisely matched and aligned to work together seamlessly, delivering an effortless ‘just right’ sound. When you hear it, you’ll know it.

LOW-ORDER CROSSOVERS AND MINIMAL DESIGN FOR PURER SOUND

The purer the signal, the truer the sound. A Kudos loudspeaker preserves a clean and clear audio signal by favouring a minimal design with our trademark, low-order crossover. The Titan series’ superior quality components are tailored specifically for Kudos to stringent tolerances. They include Mundorf’s MResist Supreme resistors and air-core inductors, and ClarityCap’s unique CopperConnect technology capacitors.

INTERIOR DESIGN

The best designs are a marriage of form and function. The Titans’ modernist design blends effortlessly into the contemporary home. Concealed within, however, is highly a complex system of differential panel resonance control. While keeping a rigorously tight grip on any and all unwanted vibrations, this smart system gives full and free rein to the natural dynamics of your music.

ISOBARIC WITH FIXED BOUNDARY LOADING

Bass is key to how we hear music, so our Titan series goes above and beyond in ensuring superior sound at the all-important lower end. The Titan 707’s isobaric and fixed boundary bass reflex loading is cleverly engineered to deliver a more agile, nuanced, textured and detailed bass reproduction.

ACTIVE CONFIGURATION (UPGRADEABLE)

The Titan series is configured to allow simple by-passing of the internal crossover for active operation with leading electronics including Linn Exakt, Devialet Expert and Naim SNAXO. Upgrading to active operation enables a variety of performance and personalisation enhancing capabilities.

What others say

"Crisper, clearer, faster and more detailed: that sums up the gains on offer when taking this Exposure/Kudos system active, the set-up both gaining control and losing some of the restraint heard in passive mode. Best of all, it goes louder cleaner without urging restraint over volume. "

    Outstanding

I reviewed the three products 606,707 and 808 from the Titan range after narrowing it down to these vs the Focal Utopia series… The difference between the Focal and Titan was subtle but given my love of vinyl electronic, folk and indie music, I felt the Titan sounded a little better (system is Naim Solstice, Naim 252, 250 and Supercap along with NDX2 streamer when not listening to vinyl)…. Prices were similar between the Focal and the Titan but to me the Titan sounded better.

Then it was which one in the range …. between the 606 and the 707 there was a big difference…. with very little floor space change…. the 808 was immense and is a big speaker that needs a big room (in my opinion) so the 707 was my choice…. beautifully finished in walnut the speakers looks superb, the weight is considerable but close your eyes put on a vinyl and these speakers will transport you to another world!

    Kudos Titan 707

    My original speakers were B & W 804 D3’s.
I auditioned around 10 different makes of speakers. going around the country to find my end game speakers. Prices ranging from £10,000 to £20,000. I ended up with the kudos Titan 707’s. Excellent sounding speakers.

    Titan 707

I bought my Titan 707’s to replace my Naim SBL’s that I had for 10 years, while the footprint is a larger they were very easy to accommodate, go fairly close to the wall and look beautiful. I recommend playing with the placement after you’re had them for a few months, also experiment with different speaker cables. The most immediate effect I felt were the vocals, after that the scale and the level of detail I was now hearing which to my ears has been the most rewarding upgrades I have ever made. Only one warning is the weight they weigh 50Kg each so are a 2 person job to move and my house has many steps!
