I auditioned several brands of loudspeaker in both active and passive configurations . Narrowed down to either ATC or Kudos. A home demo for a couple of weeks convinced me that the Kudos Titan 606 would be an end game , no desire to upgrade further loudspeaker. Apart from possibly going active in the future! Incredibly and reassuringly heavy, the build quality really is excellent and I can see these loudspeakers outliving me. My amplifier ,a Linn Selekt DSM with Organik DAC drives them easily and is a very good match , and can also be made aktiv when the time comes. Very happy and very pleased with the recommendation and support from Nigel at Peter Tyson.

After a few weeks of running these speakers in I am delighted with how fantastic they sound in my room. These speakers have a wonderfully natural & organic sound with the bass, midrange & treble being great in their own right but also incredibly well integrated. I had been worried that the low sensitivity of 84dB would make them difficult to drive but I needn’t have worried as my Hegel amp has great control of them at moderate volumes.
A definite recommendation for anyone looking for an end game speaker for a medium size room!!!

I chose the Titan 606s after extensive listening with other speakers in the price range. They were without doubt the most balanced, refined and natural-sounding by comparison. The others were impressive but the 606s actually gave me goosebumps they were so good.
Mid-range has air and space around the music giving natural soundstage and imaging, bass is deep and solid without being boomy, and treble and highs are accurate and smooth. There is good tone and timbre to vocals, instruments (especially acoustic) have texture, and used with GutWire speaker cables reveal all the subtle nuances that make listening almost intimate, as though being played live – the other day I even looked up just to check!
Most impressive is their overall balance – they present the music as it actually is without any colouration. There is not one type of music or quality of recording that I ever feel the sound needs adjusting or tweaking. All music just sounds tonally real and true.
The 606s are the real deal, the complete package. Properly ‘grown up’ and refined. I look forward to living with them for many years to come.

Great speakers which compliment my Naim system. Relatively unfussy re placement. Clear open airy and detailed sound with great timing and extended articulate bass. Build quality and finish very good. Look better in the flesh!

I’ve been using these for just over 12 months and they are fantastic the bass so tight and controlled plus the music just seems to flow out of these speakers in such a natural way.
They integrate well into the room and don’t appear to be to fussy on room position in fact they are closer to the rear wall than my previous speakers which was rather surprising. Low level listening is truly outstanding. I am running them with a NAP 300dr in passive mode.
You cannot fault the fit, finish and attention to detail in the build of these speakers I chose the Tineo finish and it matches the other room furniture very well.
I am extremely impressed with the all round ability of these speakers they are truly superb indeed.

Running them passively, after burning them in, the music became more detailed and more exiting then my previous PMC speakers, certainly had more bass.
I also attended a Kudos Active day and listened to the Naim Snaxo With Kudos Titan speakers. I liked what I heard and chose this route, ending up with a Snaxo 242 specifically tuned for the Kudos Titan 606 speakers.
Now, after burning in the new cable and additional amplifier, I thought that they were good before, but all I can now say is wow!!! Not only has the soundstage opened up and got bigger, not just clearer positioning of instruments, but with the drums, you can now tell the position of each of the drums and cymbals. The bass is now cleaner and more detailed, particularly with the Double Bass, as I listen to a lot of Jazz.
Aesthetically, the Titan range Is a very good looking speaker and pleasing on they eye. Additionally, Kudos made mine in Oak which matches the rest of my system.
I’ve now re-discovered a lot of my Vinyl which I can only describe as happy days.
